LITERACY CENTER NEWS

What Milford means to me

I’ve always lived in the Woodmont section, a nice place to raise my six daughters near the beach.

My husband came to Milford to look for a home for us in 1964. I’ve lived here in this home 49 years.

Milford always felt like home.

My homeland was Palestine which is now Israel – a beautiful country.

There is now a beautiful memorial dedicated to my husband on Anchor Beach and living here has been a big part of my life.
